IMA launch 12 month COMtrac pilot with Queensland Police
IMA have commenced a 12 month pilot with the Queensland Police Service using the COMtrac Investigation and Evidence Management System to improve the operational efficiencies of investigations, automating the process of generating documents required to prosecute offenders such as the Brief of Evidence.
The Queensland Police are working very closely with the DPP to introduce COMtrac as a way forward for presenting the evidence in court in a timely fashion, alleviating a great deal of the pressure on the over-worked court systems.
The trial is being run from North Queensland with Investigators from 5 different sections of the Queensland Police being trained up in the correct use of the Investigation Management System.
